Solodified is a Nairobi-based emcee whose music is anchored in the truth of lived experience. A craftsman of the self-made tradition, he has spent over a decade building a catalog that refuses the shortcuts — no auto-tune, no manufactured heat, just bars and beats that answer to nobody.
His 2009 debut SuperStar HoodStar announced a voice that was already formed: confident, direct, rooted in the streets and sounds of Nairobi's 254. His 2018 return Serial Boomer confirmed that the nine-year formation was permanent. The city had evolved. The conviction had not.
